Historical and technical data
The site of the mouth of an artillery piece is located North-West of Reunion on the territory of the commune of the port, at the western port of the tip of the pebbles.
The website
The site presents on the surface the mouth of a cannon. This artillery piece is in good condition. Made of cast iron, the metal part is buried vertically leaving only the mouth of the barrel visible. The latter has a circular shape whose outer contour is chamfered. The caliber hole is visible.
